The importance of prayer in the holiness

Many people have prayed but received no answer from God. Too many people praying for someone in pain, but healing does not happen too. Some people again prayed for problems, but his prayer vanished like the wind. Then people began to ask: where was God? Why he did not want to answer? Whether in fact there is no God? Such prayer, and similar questions seem more common in people who do not yet know God better, even though they are Christians.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” (Hosea 4:6)

This verse describes us that God’s people need to know Him, to understand Him, to understand His laws, so that we can live and experience the fulfillment of His promise.

Praying is talking to Heavenly Father, other than to request anything from him, we also praise Him, adore Him, glorify His greatness and give thanks for all his goodness and for all who have done miraculous deeds Him for us. But one thing we must always remember is this: that our Heavenly Father’s Holy (Leviticus 11:44), and someone who is not sacred is disgusting in His presence.

For even if a person prays with howling, with tears, even with blood gushing, but if he did not admit his mistake and refused to repent of all sins, then God will also cover his ears and would not help him because of an unrepentant sinner is odious to him.

Isaiah 59:1-3 say:

1 Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

This is one thing that can cause someone to be hindered prayer. But there are other things that also can be a barrier prayer:

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25).
The verse teaches us that every person who has not been willing to forgive his neighbor, then he also did not have his sins forgiven by God, he is still disgusting to God. That’s one other thing that can hinder his prayer.

If in the case of prayer, we’ve started the right way, then the next step is to perform the prayer with all your heart, by directing all our hearts, minds and our minds to His own, and raise any praise, reverence, worship and thanksgiving which out of the heart and with all the full-consciousness and seriousness, then the Heavenly Father will welcome us with his hands open.

God would keep us from prayer hypocrites with this allusive verse:

“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: …” (Isaiah 29:13)

Praying in holiness, and done the right way, will ensure that we enter His presence, where the doors of blessings have opened, so that we can receive the blessings of good spiritual, physical blessings (health, healing) as well as material blessings.

My brother in the Lord Jesus,
If there has been an unanswered prayer, let this article may help you.

God bless you
